Service Delivery during Lockdown

Public Statement: Service Delivery Update

It is unprecedented times for us as a Nation and specifically for us in Worcester and surrounding towns. For years we have been serving the community, and we will keep on tending to all your plumbing emergencies in this difficult time we face as a nation.

The decision to keep assisting people with emergencies was made on sound decision making and on the advice of the Government. As we form part of the list of Critical Services that have to keep operating in the Covid19 response.

However, we are still responsible for the safety of all our employees and clients. For this reason, we will change our standard operating procedures to accompany the safety steps we have put in place. Below is our process moving forward until further notice.

Service Call Precautions:

We are open and running service calls to homes. We want to be there in case of emergencies and make sure you as our client live in a safe and comfortable environment.

When you call in, our office staff will ask you multiple questions. Some of these questions might include things like your ID Number, how many people are living in your home, how old they are, do they have a fever, has anyone been affected by the virus etc. These questions are of high importance so that we can be proactive with our team’s response and level of protection as well as have a clear database of who our men have been in contact with.

In many cases it might not be a requirement for you to be in the same room as the technicians. We ask that you respect the safety of the men and stay clear of the room or observe from a distance. Our technicians might feel the need to disinfect the area they are working in, please respect and assist them in this regard.

During this time, our offices wil be closed to the public. We ask that all payments be made via electronic means. If you need assistance in this regard, feel free to contact us.

We plan to do this as long as it is necessary or make change in accordance with the World Health Organization or Government advice.

We greatly appreciate our customers and team members here at Mr Plumber. We understand the value of trying to reduce the spread of this virus so that our healthcare system is not overwhelmed. We are confident that we will be able to handle this predicament as quickly as possible to allow everyday operations to return to normal.
